#MARCH26 follows a group of protestors as they travel from Liverpool to London to take part in the National Protest Against the Cuts that took place on March 26, 2011. This was just 10 months after the Conservative Party and Liberal Democrats formed a coalition Government, quickly enacting a policy of severe austerity, ostensibly in response to the economic crash of 2008. 10 years later the devasting legacy of those policies are apparent in every sector. The film discuss issues of radicalism, politics and the history protest in Liverpool. #MARCH26 was screened as part of the RADICAL CITY event at the Everyman Theatre on 24th April 2011, along with another documentary - Bruce Scott - Beyond The Rent Strike.
